We are so excited to be entering into the third year of business here at Fynn, and are even more excited about how much growth and learning 2021 and 2022 allowed us! With that in mind, we're updating some of our policies for the new year,
and with transparency in mind, are sharing them with you.
Our new prices for 2023 are as follows, and will come into affect from February 2023:
HOURLY - R625 (two hour minimum from 1 March)
HALF DAY - R2300
FULL DAY - R4500
The above prices are incl. VAT.
HOURLY - R745 (two hour minimum from 1 March)
HALF DAY - R2500
FULL DAY - R4900
The above prices are incl. VAT.
We will be implementing a two-hour minimum booking from 1 March 2023 onwards.
This will apply to all bookings EXCEPT for weekly recurring one-hour sessions (such as yoga classes).
These recurring sessions have to be booked for a full month, and paid in advance.
2. HOURS OF OPERATION
In 2021, the standard hours of operation were 9am-5pm Monday-Sunday. Overtime was allowed from 7am-9am, and 5pm-8pm, and was charged for.
In 2022 and 2023, our new hours will be 8am-6pm Monday-Sunday. Overtime will be allowed from 6am-8am, and 6pm-8pm, and will be charged at overtime rates.
We are so excited to be focusing more on events in 2023 that encourage growth and learning - such as wellness events, creative workshops and talks by entrepreneurs/creatives etc.
Our event space is not a traditional one (ie an event space in Muldersdrift or Maboneng which caters for big parties as they have lots of parking and storage, and no residential neighbours). As such, we are very specific about which type of events we allow in our space, as we're in a residential area, and are a photographic studio, not a full-on event space.
We will no longer be hosting events that have alcohol as the main focus, such as launches for spirits, or wine tastings.
3A - EVENTS - DEPOSIT
In 2023, we will be requiring all event clients to pay a deposit before their booking. The amount will be based on the size/type of the event, and will cover any damages, overtime, breakages or any other costs incurred by the studio.
Should no charges be incurred, the deposit will be returned in full, approximately 5 days after the event.
This deposit amount is completely separate from the studio fee.
While we did offer retainers at a time during 2021, we will not be offering them in 2022 and 2023. They simply do not work within the realms of our business.
5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our business, just like every other business, has strict terms and conditions. These are put in place in order to protect the way in which we run our business, and to protect our team, and of course, our clients.
All items on our terms and conditions need to be abided by (these T&Cs are provided to client at time of invoicing. By making payment, one accepts the T&Cs, as one would do by signing a contract). Any clients not abiding by our T&Cs, and therefore not respecting our team and our business, will be blacklisted. It's as simple as that.
